What this is

Make Noise is an internal platform operated by the agency for its own staff, to plan, approve and measure marketing activity on behalf of the agency’s clients. Access is granted by the agency. There is no public sign-up, no free tier, and no consumer offering.

Who may use it

Only people the agency has explicitly granted an account. Each account carries a role and a client scope that limit what it can see and do. You may not share credentials or use an account assigned to someone else.

Connected accounts

You may connect a client’s platform accounts only where the client has authorised the agency to act on its behalf. You are responsible for holding that authorisation. We request the narrowest permissions each feature needs, and either party may disconnect an account at any time.

Acceptable use

The platform enforces a fixed set of prohibitions that cannot be disabled by any user, because the underlying tactics violate platform policies, harm the platforms’ communities, or corrupt the measurements the product depends on. The product will not perform, assist with, or recommend:

  • Purchased or artificial engagement — views, likes, followers, or subscribers
  • Coordinated fake comments, sock-puppet accounts, or astroturfing
  • Purchased or incentivised fake reviews and ratings
  • Click manipulation, click farms, or search-farm traffic
  • Paid link schemes and link networks intended to manipulate rankings
  • Mass-generated low-value pages produced to manipulate rankings
  • Automated promotional posting or commenting in community platforms

These are enforced in software at every point where the product could otherwise act: when a plan is proposed, when content is submitted for review, when anything publishes, and when an amplification is recommended. They are documented in the product itself rather than hidden, and removing one requires a code change, not a setting.

Human approval

The product recommends; people decide. Nothing publishes to a connected account and no budget is committed without a recorded approval from a person authorised to give it, and the person who proposes an action cannot be the person who approves it.

Accuracy of outputs

Parts of the product generate drafts and estimates, including with AI assistance. These are proposals for a person to evaluate, not statements of fact. Metrics are presented with their source and a confidence indicator, and estimates are labelled as such. You are responsible for reviewing anything the product produces before acting on it or publishing it.

Platform terms

Use of connected platforms remains subject to those platforms’ own terms and developer policies. Where a platform’s terms are stricter than these, the platform’s terms govern.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes; material changes will be communicated to account holders.
